FFXIII Lance - Give Em Hellby *Aicosu

Final Fantasy FXIII Oerba Yun Fang's Double Bladed Lance

Phew!!! I can't believe I got this done!

Well I finally got this all together but once again I also short myself out. I wanted to make the entire thing from poplar wood, but what with Anime Expo creeping up on me and three other props to make I had to improvise my time.

So instead I bought a extendable pole for a mop, spray paint, and a whole lot of craft foam.

The blades are craft foam and cardboard and so is most of the decorations, excluding the soda cans that attach the blades to the pole, and the yoga mat texture grip.

Then the whole thing was glossed in a glass finish.

Unfortunatly -- I made this lance proptional to me as Fang's is to her. Little did I realize that meant that the thing is ten feet tall in height. Also, due to time and confusing mechanics, the blades are non functional.

Also, craft foam isn't the most durable -- so I have been having some over problems.

Lucikly, I don't have to fight any Malboro's anytime soon.

But don't it look pretty?

We'll see how my battle skills hold up at AX!

The blades are craft foam and foam core, the pole is a unscrewed mop, all the silver detailing is craft foam and the textured part are a cut up yoga mat.
